Gitanjali College of Physical Education was established in 2018 by Gitanjali Foundation, a registered Trust at Daikota in Sainthia Block under Birbhum district of West Bengal. This is an institution located in extreme rural area amidst Pure green away from dins and bustles of city life, just 35 kms far from the holy place of Tagore's Shantiniketan. This is one of the most prestigious institutions affiliated to the University of Burdwan with BPED and MPED courses and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). This institution having high quality infrastructural facilities is run by a group of efficient and qualified teacher and skilled office Personnel.

This institution has its own play ground of about 09 acres and other infrastructure such as Administrative Building, spacious Classrooms, Library, Gym, Sports and teaching equipments etc.
